Melbourne’s 2030 fashion show will be the biggest of its kind in the west and will feature more than 100 designers from all over the world, including several from Australia, according to the event’s organisers.
It is expected to be the first fashion show of its type in the city’s history, with the first 100 guests expected to arrive by 10am.
The event will also feature the first exhibition of the new Milan fashion brand, which will be based in the Italian capital, in a series of exhibitions in 2018.
The Milan Fashion Week event is expected on September 27 and will be held in Melbourne from September 25 to 30.
The inaugural Milan Fashion Show was organised by fashion designer and designer Marc Jacobs in May 2018.
It attracted the largest audience ever for a fashion show in Melbourne, attracting more than 30 million viewers and a total attendance of over 300,000, according for the Melbourne Tourism Commission.
It featured a range of artists including Michael Kors, Alexander McQueen, Alexander Wang, Stella McCartney, J Balvin, Dior and Calvin Klein.
The show was followed by a number of performances by music acts including The Weeknd, Bruno Mars, Kanye West and Katy Perry.
The Melbourne International Fashion Week is the largest fashion show held in Australia.
It will take place on September 28-29.
