On Thursday, several celebrities joined together to show off their style-savvy ways, including Katy Perry, Kylie Jenner, Miley Cyrus, and Kendall Jenner.
On Twitter, one of the biggest hashtags on the site went viral, gaining over 40,000 mentions and over 9 million tweets.
The #MakeDresslookBad hashtag was trending on Twitter during the event, which was attended by celebrities including Ariana Grande, Cher, Jennifer Lopez, Kate Upton, and Beyoncé.
In addition to Katy Perry and Kylie, some of the celebrities featured at the #DressedByBurban hashtag event included Miley, Cher and Jennifer Lopez.
The #DrawnByBurbandate hashtag was a huge success for @BurberryCo, with more than 400,000 tweets.
This trend was also the #3 most shared trend on Twitter.
A number of celebrities took to social media to discuss the fashion industry’s efforts to promote the hashtag.
Cher tweeted that “Burberry is trying something new, and I can’t wait for it.
Let’s make our dress code better!”
Another popular hashtag, #DressingByBurbach, had more than 4 million followers and a strong following on social media.
