I’ll be honest, I was surprised to see the new PQ fashion show debut this past weekend.
It’s a pretty interesting event to see what the top designers and brands are working on, but I never thought I’d be sitting in front of a runway show and hearing the names of the brands that will be appearing.
I was also surprised to find out that there are no big names in the fashion world this year, which made me think there must be a huge gap in the scene.
The event was held at the iconic Dutch style museum in Amsterdam, and was filled with the likes of NARS, MADE, L’Oreal, Dior, Calvin Klein, and Gucci.
It was so exciting to see designers such as Yves Saint Laurent, Alessandro Michele, and Marc Jacobs showcase their work, and even see designers in the past such as Jil Sander, Michael Kors, and Dior.
There were plenty of designers in attendance that had a lot to say about their designs and inspirations, and it was nice to see how they were inspired to bring these brands to life.
It’s clear from the designer panel that the audience for fashion shows are quite different to what we see at fashion shows in the United States, so it was exciting to hear what they had to say.
I loved the variety of looks that were being showcased, from the classic and contemporary styles to the pop-art and vintage styles.
We saw a lot of the names that are working in fashion right now, including the likes a Dior couture collection, a collection from Gucci, and the iconic designer and designer collaborator of Yves, Jean Paul Gaultier.
It also was interesting to see that there was a lot more of an emphasis on the men’s and women’s collections.
It was great to see some of the designers talking about their inspirations and the work they do.
The show also showcased some of fashion’s most well-known brands, including Gucci and MADE.
Gucci has been a staple of the fashion industry for decades, and MKE is one of the most iconic fashion labels in the world.
I thought the designers on stage spoke to a lot about their brands and their vision, which was really interesting.
I’m a huge fan of YSL and I really enjoyed the conversation with designers about what inspired them to work for the label.
My biggest takeaway from the show was the amount of people that were able to come out and show off their creations, as well as the amount that were inspired by their designs.
While I’ve only been able to attend a handful of fashion shows since I started living abroad, I’m hoping that in the future there will be more shows like this that give the world a look at the designers and their creations.
