Los Angeles, Calif.
— Apple Inc. (AAPL) on Wednesday said it is “very optimistic” that its fashion show at Apple Park in downtown Los Angeles on Thursday will continue to be a “must see” for fashion fans, as a number of models continue to work on the show.
Apple’s Fashion Show at Apple Pavilion is one of the world’s most anticipated fashion shows of the year, drawing an estimated 200,000 fashion professionals to the park in downtown L.A. from March 25-31.
Apple said in a statement that it is still hopeful that the show will continue, but that it “can’t wait” for Thursday’s debut.
Apple is preparing to open its third Apple Store in the Los Angeles area on Thursday, and the new store will open as part of the company’s “Apple Watch Series 3” retail campaign.
The new store is slated to be open by the end of the month, with Apple expecting to be able to open stores in at least 20 major U.S. cities in 2020.
